Focus Projects
Urban timber vacation rentals
-
Consisting of two projects designed concurrently for the same client, 2424 and 2300 are constructed of mass plywood floor plates with pre-fabricated wood stud walls. Each building takes a different approach to it’s urban context, but shares the same finishes and details throughout. Large expanses of glass give views onto both the urban context as well as an internal courtyard.
Bonderized standing seam facades tie each project into the industrial focused neighborhoods while warm interiors give residents an escape from the city. The interiors of each unit feature a small kitchen and bath as well as a living and bedroom area separated by a modular storage system.
