Doilies — Lawrence, KS

The gallery in the Art and Design building constantly has exhibitions up, but the path from both doors is hardly ventured off of. To disrupt the quotidian path we placed laser cut paper doilies across the entire gallery except for a 5 foot path along the entire exterior. Guests had to make the choice when entering the gallery to either walk on top of the instillation, or venture around taking in the gallery to its full extent.
